That Nice Blog Lady

Hi and welcome to the September Blog!

We are moving into my favourite time of year once more. I love Autumn with the beautiful and colourful changes in nature, the nip in the air, the nights drawing in, open fires, comfort food and spiced pumpkin everything!

The Spring Equinox is also approaching this month, around the 22nd September.

This point on the Wheel of the Year signifies equal time between day and night and is a great time for looking at balance in your life.

Our animal friends are masters at working with nature and the seasons and when the light starts to fall they will start preparing for the Winter rest. We can also take our lead from nature by looking at what we have achieved this year so far, what lessons we can learn, and how we plan to finish the year. It is a great time to look at earlier wishes and manifestations and offer gratitude for all our blessings.

I am writing this on a beautiful day over looking a blue sky and sea having just came back from a beach walk with my girl Harlee. How many times I dreamed of that while sitting in my office!

If you would like some space for planning, reflecting or relaxing, this can be a great time to treat yourself to a retreat. Manse on the Beach http://manseonthebeach.com/ are running a fabulous holistic retreat at their beautiful accommodation right on the beach in Cloughey, Co. Down. I might be biased but this is really a beautiful and tranquil part of the world. They also have pet friendly rooms and I'm just up the road if you need a dog walker or sitter! Don't forget I offer Reiki, canine massage and crystal healing so your pet can be pampered too and it is excellent for their wellbeing.

September also heralds the start of the new school year, many folks going back to work and routines being established and settled into. In all the busyness in life, if you need some help with your pets get in touch! I can offer dog walking, drop in care visits while you are out, pet sitting and house sitting. Growing in popularity are house sitting and drop in care visits that are especially beneficial for older or more independent dogs and cats, pets in ill health or who are differently abled and also pets who just prefer their own routine. It has the added benefit for security for your home and for outside pets like chickens and ducks.

Don't forget I am fully insured and Access NI certified.

Until next time,
