Terms of Service

The following information is provided to clarify the terms of service under which That Nice Dog Lady and Reiki for Pets & their People operate

The following information is provided to clarify the terms of service under which That Nice Dog Lady and Reiki for Pets & their People operates. By purchasing any of our products or services you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of business. Please read these terms carefully before using our services. These terms and conditions are legally binding and form a contractual agreement between you and Karen Adair of That Nice Dog Lady and Reiki for Pets & their People.

1:1 Sessions

If you know you are going to be late, please contact Karen to make her aware of this. We often have back to back appointments booked, so if you run late it causes other appointments to run behind which is unacceptable for those clients who follow you. If you arrive late, your appointment time will not be increased so your session may be cut short as a result. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and you will lose your fee without exception. In the event that lateness is a persistent problem we reserve the right to withdraw services from you.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy

Please note that refunds for paid appointments are not given. If you need to cancel your appointment, provided you have given at least 48 hours notice, you will be issued with a credit note so you can apply this to an alternative appointment date. If you fail to attend your appointment or give less than 48 hours notice of cancellation then you will lose your fee without exception.

In the event you have booked an appointment with us but have not paid for it on booking, you are still obliged to pay for the session if you fail to attend without 48 hours notice of cancellation, an invoice will be generated and sent to you and must be settled within 14 days otherwise legal action will be taken. We have had to put this policy in place to safeguard the business and our loyal clients from those who fail to show up for appointments.

Please note that we operate a 3 strike system. Should you fail to attend your appointment with us on more than two occasions we reserve the right to withdraw services from you and prevent future bookings with you.

In the event that your practitioner needs to cancel your appointment or reschedule it, you will be offered a credit note and/or a new appointment. We will only cancel appointments if there is no other option, for example, the practitioner has taken ill or an emergency situation has occurred.

Covid19 and other Contagious Illness

Please do not continue with your appointment if you have any symptoms of Covid19 (high temperature, cough, loss of smell or taste), if you have tested positive within the last 10 days, or if you have been in contact in the last 7 days with someone who has Covid19 or other contagious illness. All sessions can be converted to distance healing so you will not lose out on your appointment.

Privacy

All sessions are confidential. Your details will be held in accordance with UK Data Protection laws and your session will not be discussed with anyone. All records are kept for up to ten years from the date of your last appointment. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please raise it directly with Karen Adair and she will endeavour to rectify the situation as soon as possible for you.
